About the Journal
«Kazakh history» (Қазақ тарихы) has been published since 1993. The journal publishes original scholarly articles on current research in the fields of history, archaeology, and ethnography of Kazakhstan and the peoples of Central Asia.
The journal is published quarterly (four issues per year). Articles are published in Kazakh and English. All submissions undergo peer review and are accompanied by brief abstracts in Kazakh and English.
The journal is intended for Kazakhstani and international specialists, researchers, scholars, and members of the professional community interested in current issues of the history of Kazakhstan.
No fee is charged for the use of materials published in the journal. Under the Open Access policy, readers are free to read, download, copy, distribute, and provide links to the full texts of articles published in Kazakh History. Commercial use of the journal's materials is not permitted. All materials submitted to the journal are protected by copyright.
