Study of ancient and medieval settlements of Northern and Eastern Kazakhstan
Abstract
At present, researchers are required to conduct comprehensive studies to deeply reveal the rich treasure of the history of the Kazakh people. The need to comprehend the events and phenomena of past periods of national history, the truth of which has been distorted and the truth has not been told, has arisen. That is why in the field of archeology and ethnography, which are branches of historical science, researches of settlements and sites were conducted and a number of works were published. In order to give further impetus to archaeological and ethnographic research, it is better to emphasise the changes of settlements and sites in separate periods, the scale of historical development processes in each region and their peculiarities in separate regions. In addition, it is necessary to conduct a historiographical analysis of the level of reflection of these issues in the scientific literature. Because such an analysis allows to correctly show the main line of historical processes, their significant phenomena in the scientific sense, to use the experience of historical cognition to identify and study the relevant problems. One of the topical issues of this topic is the scientific analysis of the data on the identified settlements and settlements in each region on the basis of archaeological and ethnographic research.
As a result of historiographical review of studies of ancient and medieval settlements of Northern and Eastern Kazakhstan, it is possible to identify yet unexplored and understudied geographical areas on the territory of Kazakhstan.
