Since the world around us is always painted in one way or another, then we naturally have a need to use color definition terms. The dictionary of any language always contains a limited number of color names (usually 100-150). In this case, the human eye is able to distinguish several times more colors (up to 100,000 shades). Color is of great importance in the life of a modern person. Often, the mood, emotions and even physical well-being of people directly depend on it. From this it is clear why research in the field of color is so popular among psychologists. However, considering certain aspects, specialists often ignore the deep historical and cultural experience of a person who constantly strives to name the objects and phenomena that surround him. This article discusses the conceptual features of colors in Proverbs and sayings. The article examines the poetic features of anthropocentric proverbs that come in black and white from a historical point of view, and concludes that they form the basis of stable antonyms that help to understand the features of the artistic picture of the world, as well as clarify philosophical and aesthetic views.
The relevance of the study is that black and white colors are little studied in Proverbs. To continue and complement these studies, the authors focus on the proverbial color palette when conducting research. The color scheme is ideological-thematic, attracts characteristic clear contrasts, and most importantly performs certain functions. It has been proven that the values" black "and" white " can have both positive and negative characteristics.
